Past Events

  • WNAR 2026 Expanding Opportunities Workshop, June 12-14, 2026. This workshop emphasized mentorship and belonging in quantitative fields as well as provided an enriching college experience for local middle and high school students from the Kalispel Tribe of Indians. Students engaged with youth researchers and a variety of (bio)statistics and data scientist graduate students and professionals. This workshop was funded in part by Pizza Perfection.

Students from historically underrepresented groups were especially encouraged to apply. This workshop was funded in part by CANSSI with support from NSERC.
